Attitude
You must have the right attitude from the moment you start. Develop a success-orientated attitude and avoid negativity at all costs.
Acceptance
A is also for acceptance. In that you must accept the fact that fat loss is hard, because once you accept that it's hard you will take it more serious and commit to your fat loss nutrition and training plan, which ultimately makes fat loss a lot easier.
Action
A is also for action. In that you must take action and apply what you know you need to do, because until you do it, it really doesn't matter what you know. Apply these 7 action steps starting today and start seeing results real soon!
Belief
You must believe that you will succeed and attain the body you want for the summer season. As the saying goes 'You must believe it, if you want to achieve it.' Develop the attitude and belief that this summer you are going to look your absolute best once you hit the beach and you'll have the confidence to wear the bathing suit of your choosing.
Consistency
You must be consistent with your training and nutrition. Summer season will be here in approximately 12 weeks, which is enough time to make significant changes in your body, provided you are consistent with your training and nutrition from now onwards. There's no room for major errors. Small mistakes will happen, but repeated mistakes or major slip-ups are not acceptable.
Keep yourself hydrated! Don't forget to drink plenty of water! the power of affirmations
Our minds accept as truth the critical statements we tell ourselves, but it can also accept our positive affirmations.
The words we speak and think hold great sway over the kind of life that we create for ourselves. Many people live their lives plagued by negative thoughts and never even realize this. They tell themselves and others that they are doomed to fail, not good enough, or not worthy of love, yet they are amazed when their reality starts reflecting these words. Just as the subconscious mind accepts as truth the critical statements we tell ourselves, however, it is also equipped to instantly accept the veracity of our affirmations.
Affirmations are statements chosen and spoken consciously. Once they enter our realm of consciousness, they also enter our subconscious mind where they have the power to change our lives. The affirmations you create should be specific, not too long, worded positively, formed in complete sentences, and spoken in the present tense as if what you are affirming is already true. It is a good idea to repeat your affirmations daily. You may want to tell yourself that you deserve to be happy or that you are in control of your destiny. Or, you may want to focus on a particular goal, such as attracting new friends. Rather than telling yourself you want to be well-liked, say, “I am well-liked.” Your subconscious mind will pick up on these positive messages, and you will begin to live your life as if what you are affirming already has happened. Soon, your reality will begin to reflect your affirmations. If you find that you are thwarting yourself with negative thinking, try repeating ! your affirmations several times a day. Write your affirmations down and say them aloud or in your mind. Allow your conviction to grow stronger each time you say your affirmations, and your negativity will be overridden by your motivation and positive thoughts.
Affirmations are a powerful tool for creating our desired reality. We consciously and subconsciously invite opportunity into our lives when we say affirmations. Trust in the power of your affirmations, and you will very quickly create what you have already stated to be true.
YOUR RECIPE
Low Glycemic Oat Bran Pancakes
Total Servings 12 pancakes
Serving Size 2 pancakes
Carbs Per Serving: 10.7 g
Prep Time:<20 minutes
Skill Level: Moderate
These aren't totally low carb but, they are on the low glycemic side, so eat these in moderation and you will be just fine. This are high in fiber which brings the net carbs down. Ingredients:
1 cup oat bran hot cereal, uncooked
1/2 cup soy, buckwheat or whole grain flour
1/4 cup Fructevia, Steviva Blend or a tiny dash Stevia
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 cups buttermilk
2 eggs
Instructions:
Heat nonstick griddle or frying pan over medium to medium high heat. Add a tablespoon of coconut oil or cooking oil if you don't have coconut oil but, you should have some. :)
Combine oat bran, flour, Fructevia, Steviva Blend or a tiny dash Stevia, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a large bowl.
Set aside.
Beat together buttermilk and egg in a small bowl with a wire whisk.
Pour the egg mixture over dry ingredients.
Stir together until ingredients are just blended and no large dry lumps appear.
Pour approximately 1/8 cup pancake batter onto hot griddle.
Cook pancakes until puffed, browned and slightly dry around the edges.
Flip over and cook other side until golden brown.
