Who
We Are Right Now?
How
do you define yourself? Do you define yourself as your work? If you
are a lawyer do you cross examine your family? If you start defining
yourself as your vocation, your behavior your role in your family you
will become what you are labeling yourself.
Perhaps
when you make mistakes you refer to yourself as a screw up or you may
refer to yourself as a procrastinator. If we start labeling ourselves
it can become a self fulfilling prophecy and can color our lives which
determines our future behavior. We all make mistakes, we all procrastinate
but it does not make us procrastinators or any other label for that
matter. Labeling ourselves can effect us permanently both good and bad.
Do
you feel gifted? Well I have news for you. We are all gifted. If you
believe this you will feel a sense of confidence and empowerment you
may have never felt before. This is the day I want for you. You are
not what your past is. You are what you are right now. I invite you
to sit down and make list of "who are you really". Describe
yourself in precise detail. Really take time with this and be very conscious
while you do this. You will see a lot of negative beliefs but, you will
also see a lot of good things too. Now that you can see who you think
you are and how you define yourself make another list with all the traits
of the person you want to be. Do this in the exact total detail as you
did the first list. Take your time with this. Go inside and find this
person. This is who you will be if you are committed to make your life
better. This is the person you need to be. You should fuse with this
person. If you were this person how would you move, how would you breath
what would your posture be, how would you treat other people? Embrace
how you would talk, walk, move and soon you will see your basic behavior
start to change. You will become this person and before long your entire
identity will change. But, you must decide to commit to this otherwise
it may not work.
The
way you define yourself will determine where you will go in the future
and if you do not like the way you are defining yourself today, you
do have the ability to change it right now.
Here's
to your new future.
Have
an excellent day.

Keeping
Yourself Positive
by: Brian Tracy
The most important
thing you do for your success is to take control of the suggestive elements
in your environment. Be sure that what you are seeing and listening to
is consistent with the goals you want to achieve.
Listen
Your Way To Success
Listen to educational audio programs in your car. The average person drives
12,000 to 25,000 miles per year which works out to between 500 and 1000
hours per year that the average person spends in his or her car. You can
become an expert in your field by simply listening to educational audio
programs as you drive from place to place.
Take
Courses In Your Field
Attend seminars given by experts in your field. Take additional courses
and learn everything you possibly can. Learn from the experts. Ask them
questions, write them letters, read their books, read their articles and
listen to people with proven track records in the area in which you want
to be successful.
Get
Around The Right People
Associate only with positive, success-oriented people. Get around winners.
As we say, fly with the eagles. You can't fly with the eagles if you keep
scratching with the turkeys. Get away from the go-nowhere types and above
all, get away from negative people. Get away from negative coworkers.
If you've got a negative boss, seriously consider changing jobs. Associating
on a regular basis with negative people is enough in itself to condemn
you to a life of underachievement, frustration and failure. Associate
only with positive people. Get around winners.
Visualize
Your Goals
The last thing before you sleep and the first thing in the morning, think
about and visualize your goals as realities. See your goal as though it
already existed. Your subconscious mind is only activated by affirmations
and pictures that are received in the present tense. See your goal vividly
just before you go to sleep. See yourself performing at your best. See
the situations that you're facing working out exactly the way you want
them to.
Feed
Yourself Mental Pictures
See yourself living the kind of life that you want to live. See yourself
with the kind of relationships, the kind of health, the kind of car, the
kind of home you really want. Visualize just before you fall asleep at
night. The first thing you do when you get up in the morning is to feed
yourself mental pictures. Those are the two times of the day when your
subconscious mind is most receptive to new programming, when you fall
asleep and when you wake up.
Action
Exercises
Here are two things you can do, all day long, to keep your mind and emotions
focused on your goals and financial success:
First, listen
to audio programs in your car and when you travel around. Continue feeding
your mind with a stream of high-quality, educational, motivational material
that moves you toward your goal.
Second, resolve
to associate with positive, optimistic people most of the time. Get around
winners and get away from negative people who criticize, condemn and complain.
This can change your life as much as any other factor.

Summer
Fitness 101
10-step plan
by Rita Trieger
“Research shows that being exposed to natural light can make
you feel more energetic.”
Summer's
upon us and that means bathing suit season is here as well. But even if
you've been a little neglectful about your workouts, there's no need to
panic about having to face the world nearly naked - you can still get
in shape before you hit the beach.
Most fitness
experts agree that it takes four to six weeks to see results from any
new exercise plan, so if you start today you'll have five weeks before
the those lazy, hazy days officially start. Here are 10 things that can
help you reach your beachy best.
- Lift
weights and do aerobics. Building muscle will raise your metabolism
and tone and strengthen your body; cardiovascular exercise strengthens
your heart and burns calories. Just do it.
- Visualize.
Every
time you think of skipping a workout, picture yourself in a bathing
suit - the way you look now and the way you know you can look. Now go
workout.
- Cut
down on fats. Summer brings a bounty of sun-ripened tomatoes
plus a wide variety of crunchy, colorful vegetables that are low-calorie,
nutrient-rich and loaded with fiber. Enjoy.
- Drink
lots of water.
If you exercise for an hour a day you lose 20 percent more fluid than
you would if you just sat still and it's even higher on hot, summer
days. Dehydration can cause headaches, diarrhea, muscle cramps, and
exhaustion, and water is the best (no-fat, no-calorie) way to hydrate.
What I suggest is adding the juice of half a lemon or 4 tablespoons
of unsweetened cranberry juice to 32 ounces of water with a sprinkle
of Steviva
Brand Stevia Powder . Aside from being less than 2 carbs, you will
get the health benefits that the stevia provides along with the vitamin
C and electrolytes that lemon have. You can substitute limes for lemons
if you get bored. Click

- Exercise
outdoors.
Research shows that being exposed to natural light can make you feel
more energetic. Now that the weather is cooperating and the days are
longer, go to a park or beach and run, walk, cycle, rollerblade or swim.
The varied terrain will challenge your body in ways that indoor exercise
machines can't.
- Steer
clear of salty snacks. They're usually packed with fat and
often leave you feeling bloated, dehydrated and generally sluggish.
- Divide
and conquer. If you're very busy during the day and can't work
out for a full hour at a time, break it up into two half-hour sessions.
For example do a half hour of aerobic exercise at lunch and a half-hour
of weight training after work or vice versa.
- Wear
sunscreen. Try to avoid exercising outdoors between the hours
of 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. when the sun is at its peak, but no matter when
you choose to do an outdoor workout make sure you slather on the sunscreen.
Choose one with an SPF (sun protection factor) of 15 to 30 and put it
on at least 20 minutes before going out so it has time to penetrate
your skin.
- Workout
in water. Take advantage of your visits to a pool, lake or
the ocean by incorporating exercise into your leisure time. Tread water
while chatting with friends, jump over ocean waves or walk laps in the
pool. The added resistance of the pool water will give your legs a great
workout and burn lots of calories.
- Make
lemonade with Steviva
Brand Stevia Powder. Drinking iced tea or coffee may seem
like a great way to quench your summertime thirst but these beverages
may end up doing just the opposite. Both act as diuretics and can cause
dehydration, especially if you've been perspiring. A better choice is
a tall, frosty glass of lemonade or any fresh fruit juice poured over
ice - you'll get extra vitamins too.
Money
Isn't Everything
“Money
is not required to buy one necessity of the soul.”
-- Henry
David Thoreau
Money is
nothing more than a medium of exchange. While we may want more money to
get out of debt or to have more cash to play with, we want to set goals
that represent more than just making money. And so we might ask, “What
do I want money to do for me?”
Look to the
values beneath money. What is happiness to you? What things, qualities,
service, purpose do you value in life?
"If
all the gold in the world were melted down into a solid cube, it would
be about the size of an eight room house. If a man got possession of all
that gold -- billions of dollars worth -- he could not buy a friend, character,
peace of mind, clear conscience or a sense of eternity."
