I love this product - I will not go back to sugar or use any other sweeteners. This tastes amazing and has a depth of flavor like sugar that sucralose just can't match. It dissolves quickly in liquids and adds to a pleasing taste and texture in baked goods. It is equally delicious in hot drinks like coffee and tea. It's never bitter and doesn't bother my stomach like other sugar alcohols.
Personally, I find it quite sweet - the label says it is twice as sweet as sugar, but I feel it is closer to three times, or maybe I have very sensitive taste buds to sweet - because I use less than a 2:1 ratio.
In short, this would be perfect but for the price. The product itself is more expensive than granulated sucralose (Splenda brand) and the shipping costs are quite high. I live in Canada and paid about $23 for the 1lb bag. Luckily our Canadian dollar is virtually on par with the US dollar, there was almost no difference between the USD$ listed price and what I paid in CAD$ on my credit card.
However, I am willing to pay more for such a good product!
