Closing One Door to Open Another
Not all those who wander are lost. ~ J.R.R. Tolkien

Countless times we have all heard a friend or colleague say if only I had a new job or new partner, new house… infinitum. And thus the never ending conundrum of always wanting what believe we can not have. A wise sage once told me that in order to invite new possibilities into my life that there must be a space created for it to manifest. I have taken this tidbit of information along with me on my life's journey and have always found it to be a useful tool.

Life is a rich cornucopia of varied experiences. It is our birthright to enjoy and enhance our lives with new experiences and opportunities. It is easy to get stuck in one place. What keeps us stuck if the fear of change. The fear that what awaits us on the path ahead is not as good as what we have now; even if what we have now is not so great. The fear of the unknown keeps us stuck. The only way I have seen to release or at least manage the fear of what lies ahead is to trust. Trust yourself, trust your intuition, trust your guides, listen to advice, grit your teeth, take the plunge and most importantly trust the universe.

Shoulda, coulda, woulda. The three words that spell regret. I shoulda taken that job, I coulda been a great dad, I woulda been something special but… The time is right now to change direction, let go of the old and embrace the new journey you are about to embark on. In life it is much better to regret the things you have done then to regret the things you haven't. Start now with change. Trust it and embrace it. See the world in a new light and your path will be illuminated. As with all paths, you can always change direction if you don't like where you are going. As J.R.R. Tolkien said “ not all those who wander are lost”.

In a nut shell you must let go of what you cling to now in order to create space for something better to manifest in your life. Do this and watch change for the better manifest.

I'll see you along the path [FIRST_NAME].

YOUR MIND

Success Is Just Around The Corner
Max Steingart

Every situation, properly perceived, becomes an opportunity. But you have to act on them if you're going to be successful.

Distant pastures always look greener than those close at hand, but real opportunities are right where you are. You must simply take advantage of them when they appear. You can start where you are at any time.

Success is all around you. It's not in your environment, it's not in luck or chance, or in the help of others. Success is in yourself alone.

You don't need more strength or more ability or greater opportunity. What you need is to use what you have. Learn to seize good fortune, for it is always around you.

You must go to success, it doesn't come to you.

Open your own doors to opportunity.

10 Reasons to Warm Up These Winter Muscles
warm muscles are supple muscles

Tempted to skip your warm up? Don't! Your warm up is an important part of your exercise routine. Here are 10 vital reasons for starting out with a warm up and not taking shortcuts!

  1. Increases degradation of oxyhemoglobin. In lay person's terms, warming up helps break down the chemical complex of oxygen, which enables it to separate from the blood and enhance its delivery to the muscle.
  2. Increases body temperature. Warming up reduces the potential for muscle and connective injuries.
  3. Increases blood flow to exercising muscles. The more blood that reaches the muscles, the easier the delivery of nutrients required for energy production.
  4. Increase blood flow to the heart. More blood to the heart means a reduced risk for exercise-induced cardiac abnormalities.
  5. Decreases muscle viscosity. Hey, if viscosity is bad for your car engine, it's not any better for your muscles. Warming up enhances the suppleness of the muscle.
  6. Help promote sweating. Remember: sweat is good. Sweating reduces the amount of heat stored in the body. Your body spends more energy cooling itself than through any other activity.
  7. Enhances the speed of transmission of nerve impulses. Motor faculties improve greatly when you're warmed up. Need proof? Get out of bed and run to the front door. You'll probably bump into something, or worse, fall down. If you walked to the front door, and stretched. You could run like the wind.
  8. Increases the blood saturation of muscles and connective tissue. Sounds messy. In reality, the more blood reaching the muscles, tendons and ligaments, the better the elasticity of these tissues. Which means better performance and reduced chance of injuries.
  9. Prepares the cardiovascular system for impending workload. Helps the heart and blood vessels adjust to the body's increased demands for blood and oxygen.
  10. Prepares muscles for impending workload. Warming up may reduce the likelihood of excessive muscle soreness.

Keep yourself hydrated! Don't forget to drink plenty of water! What I suggest is adding the juice of half a lemon to 32 ounces of water with a sprinkle of Steviva Brand Stevia Powder . Aside from being less than 2 carbs, you will get the health benefits that the stevia provides along with the vitamin C and electrolytes that lemon have. You can substitute limes for lemons if you get bored. Click here to order stevia powder.

Sharing Your Gift with Others
Living Potential
by Madisyn Taylor

Your earthly existence provides you with ample opportunity to explore your purpose and use your gifts.

The gifts we are born with and those that we work to develop throughout our lives vary in form and function. Some we find use for every day while others are only useful in specific circumstances. Yet many times we overlook opportunities to share our unique gifts with others. It may be fear of criticism that holds us back or the paralyzing weight of uncertainty. Ultimately, we doubt that our innate talents and practiced skills can truly add value to others’ lives. But it is the world as a whole that benefits when we willingly share our gifts. Whether you have been blessed with the ability to awaken beautiful emotions in others through art or industry, or your aptitudes transmit more practical advantages, your gifts are a part of who you are. As you make use of those gifts as best you can, be assured that your contribution to worldly well-being will not be overlooked.

Your personal power is defined in part by your gifts. To use your talents is to demonstrate to the world that you understand yourself and are truly attuned to your capabilities. Your earthly existence provides you with ample opportunity to explore your purpose, to utilize your skills in a life-affirming way, and to positively touch the lives of others while doing so. Yet you may feel that your gifts are not as valuable or worthy of attention as those of others and thus hide them away. However, every gift lying dormant in your soul has the potential to fill a void in someone else’s life. Just as your existence is made richer by the love, support, friendship, aid, and compassion of others, so, too, can you add richness to their lives. Your natural ability to soothe hurt, inspire compassion, bake, dance, knit, organize, or think outside the box can be a boon to someone in need.

As you embrace your gifts and allow their light to shine, you will discover that more and more opportunities to make use of them arise. This is because your gifts are a channel through which the universe operates. By simply doing what you are good at and also love to do, you make a positive difference. The recognition you receive for your efforts will pale in comparison to the satisfaction you feel when fulfilling your innate potential
