This Apple Ginger Whiskey Sour is an amazing low-carb recipe perfect for a chilly fall night.

Add bourbon, apple cider, ginger simple syrup and lemon juice to a shaker glass.
Fill a glass with ice.
Shake bourbon mixture and pour over ice.
Garnish with an thinly slice piece of apple if desired.
Bring 1 cup of water to a boil.
Remove from the heat and add Erysweet, stirring until it dissolves.
Place the piece of ginger in a container with a lid.
Pour the sweetened water on top,
cover and let cool to room temperature.
Refrigerate overnight.
Discard ginger and use within 2 weeks.
