14 Jan Lavender Lemonade
I served my lavender lemonade to my family when the came over and it was a huge hit! Such a delicious twist to the traditional beverage. And the boost of flavor is so subtle, it makes you feel calm all over!
In a saucepan add 2 cups of water, lavender buds, and Stevivia sweetener. Bring the water to a boil then turn the heat to low. Mix to dissolve the sugar, cover and let it sit 10-20 minutes so the lavender flavors the water.
Put the remaining 2 cups of water and fresh lemon juice in a pitcher. Using a strainer, pour the sugared lavender water into into the pitcher making sure the lavender buds do not go in.
Fill the rest of the pitcher with ice until filled and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or more before serving.
