Blueberry Flax Smoothie – No Added Sugar & High Fiber

Dynamite comes in small packages and the flax seed is no different. Flax carries one of the biggest nutrient payloads on the planet. While it's not technically a grain, it has a similar vitamin and mineral profile with a higher amount of fiber, antioxidants, and Omega-3 fatty acids but without all the carbs. Flax is very low in carbohydrates, making it ideal for people who limit their intake of starches and sugars. And its combination of healthy fat and high fiber content make it a great food for weight loss and is key to keeping you feeling full. This smoothie is loaded with fiber and super high in anti-oxidants courtesy of the blueberries. This is the way you should be starting your morning.

Ingredients

2 cups frozen blueberries (These are super high in anti-oxidants!)

2 cups apple cinnamon tea

1/4 tsp no added sugar protein powder (vanilla)

1/4 cup low fat milk

2 tbsp flax meal

1/8 cup Fructevia, Steviva Blend (or a tiny dash to taste SteviaSweet)
